Under the Ancient God, Lord An Shizhe’s command, Long Juedi left to do what he must do in this area while Pavilion Master Xie Yun and Long Teng were tasked to remain beside the ancient god. Beside them is the last Beast King, King Kong Beast King. They had watched the whole time how a young boy with a beautiful face and another boy with expressionless face tortured the three Beast Kings who had foolishly also caused harm to Haerin.

By the time they were finished, the God of Destruction and the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness returned to this part of the area to resume cooking and they were dragging three Beast Kings whom they had just finished beating up. The two cub looking young men looked at them, making them flinch. Especially for the King Kong Beast King who was cradling the sleeping Haerin within his embrace.

There is also a nonchalant one who was sleeping on his rocking chair.

Hei Anjing and Ye Xiajie piled up the three annoying beast kings without care for the others.

The God of Destruction said to the King Kong Beast King, "You are much smarter and useless than those three useless buffoons. I will reward you later. Look after those three so they don’t act like brainless fools."

The King Kong Beast Kings was about to answer but he recalled that he was holding on to his sleeping little master and just nodded and remained quiet.

Hei Anjing said, "A’Xia asked two freeloaders to pick some fruits for me!"

"Alright," said Ye Xiajie as he watched his wife return to the kitchen while he stood before Pavilion Master Xie Yun and Long Teng holding two fruit baskets.

The two unconsciously took the offered fruit baskets while looking confused.

The Sovereign God of Void and Darkness said, "Work then you can eat."

At first the two were confused holding the fruit baskets and finally understood what this boy in front of them meant.

Long Teng asked, "We can eat too? Drools~" His stomach had been growling ever since the one in the kitchen had started cooking. He didn’t know what it was but based on the food aroma alone, it must be extremely delicious.

Ye Xiajie said before leaving, "Grab any fruit that is ripe for picking then you can eat after."

Suddenly, he stopped in front of Pavilion Master Xie Yun and said, "What you are looking for is here right now."

He walks away without looking back leaving Pavilion Master Xie Yun stunned. He was confused at first that even Long Teng who didn’t know anything had suddenly asked a question to him while he had fallen deep in his thoughts.

Long Teng asked, "What did he mean?"

All of the sudden, Pavilion Master Xie Yun recalled what happened in the Ancient Forest before he left for the Barren Lands. His eyes widen in realization and his head whips to the directions where the Beast Kings are and stares at them with shock and disbelief on his face. There is nothing he wanted to do right now but to approach the Beast Kings and find his master’s reincarnation.

But a voice suddenly rang in his mind, it was the God of Destruction speaking, ’Do as you were ordered too. You can do whatever you want after that.’

Pavilion Master Xie Yun halted his step which was about to move towards the beast kings and pulled Long Teng towards the fruit trees instead.

He said, "Let’s go pick up some fruits."

King King Beast King who was observing everything just now noticed that Pavilion Master Xie Yun wasn’t a human.

His thoughts are: ’That one... Is that a human vessel? The one controlling it doesn’t seem to be human. However, what is this familiar feeling?’

He couldn’t help but glance at the other beast kings pile up like trash not faraway from where he is.

He mumbles, ’That can’t be possible, right?’

A few hours later, the God of Destruction finally finished cooking whatever is in the pot. There is also a huge grill at the center of the place with marinated meat and seafood from the seat they come from, though most of it was leftover of what they didn’t finish eating before. He also made some desserts which are still in the oven.

Hei Anjing said, "Time to eat! Grill whatever you want to eat. There is rice and soup as well. Desserts will be eaten later."

Everyone had gathered around the bonfire with a huge grill and table of various meat, seafood and vegetables. Well, the beast kings and Ancient God An Shizhe only targeted the meat and seafood. Moreover, these ingredients are all made from mutated animals’ meat and it’s full of energy good for one’s body and cultivation.

By the time the feast was served, Long Juedi had returned on time covered with a bit of dust while Haerin woke up from her growling stomach. She was surprised about the huge monkey at first, but she is happy after knowing this beast had let her sleep on its arms. He felt that this huge monkey is kinder than the three beast kings from before who caused her to fall from a certain height.

Long Juedi said upon his return. He looked excited as he ran towards his cousin and uncle.

"Teng-ge! Uncle Xie, you can’t believe what I got. I..."

His words halted as he felt everyone’s eyes on him while his eyes had landed on the feast everyone had surrounded with and his drool almost fell out.

Gulps~

"Can I eat as well?" He asked.

Haerin, who recognized her classmate, went to Long Juedi and pulled him into the group .

"You’re back. Let’s go. Eat with us!" The little Heroine said.

After the meal, the children had fallen asleep. Growing children need more sleep and nourishing food for their growth. The atmosphere in the area is a bit awkward. Everyone’s eyes had actually landed on the Master of the Killer Pavilion, Xie Yun and the Black Guard Beast King who was being wary of him.

Pavilion Master Xie Yun had been staring at him during the meals and now this human approached him without reason. All he does is stare as if observing him. Everyone was observing them as well. The three children had already fallen asleep. The two pretending to be cubs, Hei Anjing and Ye Xiajie were watching the fun.

The Black Jaguar Beast King asked, "Human, why are you staring at me?"

"Black Jaguar Beast King, do you have a name?" The Pavilion Master Xie Yun asked.

However, names for such beasts are precious. They would never share it with just anyone and would usually only say their names with their mates. As expected the moment Pavilion Master Xie Yun about such a thing, the Black Jaguar Beast King had become unfriendly. If not for the presence of the divinities around them, he would have most likely jumped on Xie Yun in anger.

Black Jaguar Beast King said coldly, "Names are powerful things and someone that can only be shared with their mates. Who do you think you are to me?"

"If I guess your name right, would you become my mate then?" asked the Master of the Killer Pavilion, Xie Yun.

The Black Jaguar Beast King was dumbfounded.

The other beast kings were startled by Xie Yun’s words while the God of Destruction and the others were watching them from the side, relishing an exciting drama unfolding before them.

The Flood Dragon Beast King said, "This human is insane!"

"How can a human fall in love with a beast?" The Black Turtle Beast King exclaimed.

The King Kong Beast King said, "I am more surprised why do you think he can’t? Love has no boundaries as long as one another is willing to accept each other then there is no problem. Moreover, that one only has a human as a vessel, the one inside is also a beast."

"WHAT?!"

The other beast kings were stunned as they truly didn’t expect just a plot twist. On the other hand, the Black Jaguar Beast King and Pavilion Master Xie Yun are staring at each other. It wasn’t the usual romantic spark between the two but instead a tense exchange between each other’s line of sight with each side not willing to accept defeat.

The Flood Dragon King said, "Tsk! Since he isn’t human what are you hesitating about? If he is not your type just ignore him!"

"Maybe he is his type after all. However, you’ve been alone all this time. Are you willing to accept someone to stay by your side?" The Black Turtle Beast King asked.

The King King Beast King said, "If you feel something for him but unsure how about accepting the bet just now. It won’t harm you anyway. Either way do you truly believe he can guess your name?"

As if convinced by the other Beast Kings, the Black Jaguar Beast King finally made a choice. He decided to accept the challenge Xie Yun had given to himself.

The Black Jaguar Beast King said, "Alright. I accept. If you can guess either my surname or given name I will acknowledge you. If you get my full name I will accept you as my mate."

What he didn’t know is that when he said these words, a smile appeared on the God of Destruction’s face who whispered, "This is the first time I’ve seen one who willingly sold himself."
