Two days later.

The hub, that had seen little to no activity in the past few days, put on a massive show. Bird puppets flew out of the hub like bees from the hive and they all hovered over the city.

The city was mostly empty, but it was still active because of the conquest. The moment, the puppets hovered over, every member in the city, regardless of their affiliation got ready. Nobody trusted the hub anymore.

They wanted to destroy these puppets immediately, but they remembered what happened, the last time someone attacked hub. Bloody Chariot himself came to its defense. So, they didn't dare make a move.

All they could do was just stare at them and get ready to defend if they made any move.

But to their surprise all the puppets did was project. They projected the video…

In that video, they saw Elder Pith hovering in the void and Sam performing a thousand cuts, killing him slowly.

The video shocked everyone. Pith is an elder after all, so a lot of people knew him. He spent a ton of time in this realm. It's a given.

Ling Tian who was still actively trying to find out what Sam was up to, was the most shocked.

He ran out to look at the screen. He saw as Sam moved like a flash and cut the elder bit by bit. While it was shocking how a kid in second grade is actually doing something like this to an Elder, Ling Tian understood the situation.

"He is the chess board. Sam captured him." He muttered out loud in shock. His pupils visibly shook a buzz hit his head for a moment.

"He fucking captured him." He repeated that line. This terrified him more than whatever Sam could have done. He could have destroyed an Elder level realm, Ling Tian would have thought its normal. But capturing an elder, is a whole different story.

While he was lost in his thoughts, something else happened.

The video changed to just Sam sitting on his chain, leisurely.

"To the people of the academy realm, particularly to the people of the Gambler academy.

You must know what happened to me a few days ago. Elder Pith tried to kill me. So, I took some help from some of my friends and captured him.

I gave him a chance to deal with me, face to face, when we are on an equal footing. Turns out, he is all bark and no bite. He didn't even stand a chance.

So, I am going to play with him for a long time. I am going to kill him and bring him back to life, until he experiencing death becomes his second nature. He would soon, want to die more than to live.

And in process, I am going to ask him some questions about who else was involved in this plot. As far as I know, Elder Pith is a coward by nature. Even if I kill his own wife right in front of him, when she is embracing him, he wouldn't dare retaliate if I am stronger than him.

He would run like the cowardly bitch he is.

For him to make a move, someone must have incentivized him some how. There must be a lot of people from different academies involved.

Now, to the Gambler academy that made so many promises of actually taking care of me… its your job to bring out of those people and give me justice.

If not, I am going to get those names of Elder Pith and one by one, I will capture those elders, putting them through deaths again and again.

And I will broadcast it to the world. I will let the academy realm and every affiliate organization outside to know how pathetic an elder of an academy realm can be.

One more thing.

If I am the one to capture these people, my revenge won't just stop with them. Everyone involved in this plot, will lose their people, regardless of the power or affiliation they have, even it is the son of the most favorite concubine of a dean, I will fucking capture them and kill them a hundred times before I go after the candidate involved.

Then I dare you to demand justice for me.

To make it easy for you, the first candidate Elder Pith revealed is an instructor from the Zeus academy. His name is Dion.

Investigate him, read all his crimes out loud in the middle of the city and behead him.

If not, Dion exactly has 32 relatives, all occupying various positions within the academy realm. I will hunt them down one by one. And that hunt starts in three days.

By then, not only do you have to kill him, you also need to find the name of at one more person involved in this.

And that was it. Sam disappeared. The videos went back to playing different deaths of Elder Pith. Every one of them was slow, painful and extremely cruel.

They imagined themselves in Pith's shoes and they shivered in fright.

The Zeus academy elders went into a frenzy. One of the elders immediately confronted Ling Tian.

"Ling Tian. You think Zeus academy is something your students can trifle with? A mere second grader dares to demand that we hand over one of our instructors? To behead him no less…

The arrogance. Aren't you afraid of Zeus' wrath… Our god will not let this slide. You will eventually suffer."

Even before Ling Tian could reply, all of a sudden… Sam's voice was heard.

This time he was louder, not because he was yelling, but just the sheer weight behind the words made it appear louder.

The elder who spoke looked at the screen, Sam was sitting on the chair… and the way he sat, leaned against the back, arms on the rests, the legs a bit spread apart, with his head slightly titled to the side, looking sharply through the screen, as if he was looking at them.

"What's Zeus going to do?

Is he going to conjure up a lightning and spite me?

Is he going to come down in flesh and fight me?

Is he going to go feral and bite me?

I dare him to come. I dare him to come down and stand in front of me. On equal grounds, I dare him to face me.

I will go toe-to-toe, and trade blow to blow. Until the only one of us is standing and other lay bleeding. And when I say I am going to be the last one standing.
