Raising My Children With My Personal Spatial Ability
Ch-2153: Still Need Your Help
Ning Shu found herself lying in a dense forest, surrounded by towering trees that blocked out the sky. The ground was covered in fallen leaves, and moss grew thickly on the rocks.
She struggled to get up. Her heart was racing. Her stomach spasmed, and she coughed up white foam.
Her lower leg was swollen, and it also bore a pair of small puncture marks.
Had she been bitten by a snake?
Ning Shu hurriedly grabbed her calf and squeezed the wound with as much strength as she could. She felt a dagger at her waist, so she pulled it out and sliced open the puncture marks. Dark blood oozed out of her cut wound.
She kept pressing the wound as hard as she could to push the venom out.
Her breathing grew labored. She had no idea when the original host had been bitten.
She bit the tip of her tongue to stay conscious and continued pressing the wound with all her might.
Her hands ached from the effort, but at last, fresh red blood began to flow instead of thick black blood.
Ning Shu looked around and assessed her surroundings. This place looked like a tropical rainforest.
Danger, such as venomous insects, poisonous snakes, and terrifying beasts, lurked everywhere.
She tried to stand up but ended up falling back onto the ground.
A strange feeling crept over her. She felt as if something was watching her from the shadows. It made her deeply uneasy.
She looked for a sturdy tree branch and then used it as support as she struggled to stand up. Her bitten leg felt completely numb.
She wondered if there were medicinal herbs nearby. Logically, a tropical rainforest should have an abundance of natural resources.
The oppressive heat was suffocating. The temperature was likely above a hundred degrees.
Her clothes were drenched with sweat, to the point that they clung to her body and made the lines of her undergarments visible.
She needed to find a relatively safe place to receive the storyline and, hopefully, rid herself of this persistent feeling of being watched.
Why would the entrustor be in such a place? Could she be an adventurer?
Sometimes, ‘adventuring’ was just a glorified way to say ‘seeking death.’
Ning Shu straightened her spine. She frowned as she wondered why she kept feeling like she was being watched.
She released her spiritual consciousness and scanned her surroundings, only to spot a surveillance camera mounted on a tree.
Its red light blinked ominously.
Ning Shu didn’t turn around to look at it. Instead, she used her spiritual energy to push the camera off the tree. The camera crashed to the ground with a bang and broke upon impact.
Ning Shu gazed at the broken device and decided that she needed to first receive the storyline. The fact that a surveillance camera was present in this desolate place was simply absurd.
She sat beneath a tree, crossed her legs, and began cultivating the Unsurpassable Martial Arts.
The air was humid and stifling, and in the distance, she could occasionally hear the sound of waves crashing and seagulls crying.
A thought formed in her mind. Was she on an island?
Every now and then, the roar of a helicopter’s rotor blades echoed overhead. Even though she had destroyed one camera, she couldn’t shake the feeling that she was still being watched.
This time, instead of cultivating, she leaned against the tree, stretched out her legs, and closed her eyes. She pretended to sleep.
In reality, she was using her spiritual consciousness to scan the surroundings for danger while also receiving the storyline.
This was a reality show called Survival on the Deserted Island, a live broadcast program produced by a television network.
The program had quite a few participants, including the entrustor. In total, the program had 20 participants.
The goal of the show was simple. Its participants were to survive for a month on this uninhabited island in the middle of nowhere.
