The eternal true essence light pillars descending from the sky were no longer just strands. Now, they were massive pillars of light, each a hundred meters thick! Every second of exposure was equivalent to a hundred years of hard work. Braydon could clearly feel the transformation in his soul. Eternal power was flooding into his soul. Moreover, he noticed that his soul was actually closing its eyes! It was the first time he had seen a soul with its eyes closed. Braydon frowned slightly. Despite inheriting memories from his previous life, he realized he was missing information about his soul! Or perhaps, he had done something in his previous life. He might have completely erased the memories of his soul! It was clear he didn’t want himself to know too early in this life. If there was an opportunity in the future, he could ask Sadie Dudley or his wife. They would definitely know more than he did. Braydon spent a night cultivating his eternal soul to completion. The eternal soul reached its peak. It could now completely leave his body! Braydon tried to control his soul to leave his body. Fortunately, he didn’t cause any damage to the outside world. His soul’s eyes opened slightly. The moment he opened his eyes, it felt as though time and space had been sealed, and everything had come to a halt. A sharp pain shot through his mind. An even more terrifying memory suddenly surged forth, causing him to lose consciousness and collapse. The youth in white lay on the ground. The soul, now dark, hovered in the air, gazing down at his body before looking around and returning to his body. He didn’t say a word! Braydon, in his deep sleep, had no idea how much time had passed. Half a year had passed in the outside world. The genius competition for the human race was set to begin tomorrow! However, Braydon remained in seclusion. On this day, the sons of the Northern Army gathered in the courtyard. And so did the higher-ups of the Northern Army! Those present were all at least at the level of a commander. Everyone looked toward Jonah Shaw, Luther Carden, and the others. “Luther, what’s going on?” Laird Xenos asked, his eyes showing concern as he looked toward the secret chamber.
Braydon had been in seclusion for two years without any updates. What was even more alarming was that the world core, which had been glowing in the secret chamber six months ago, had now turned completely black. Something must be seriously wrong!
Additionally, Braydon’s small world was entirely sealed off, with no one allowed to enter. Attempting to break through the spatial barrier would be risky and none dared to try.
Braydon had announced his intention to participate in the upcoming competition, yet as the event drew near, he remained in seclusion. Clearly, something had gone awry.
Outside the courtyard, all eight lineage chiefs had arrived, including Chadwick Neal, Green Lotus, and the other chiefs. They approached the door and bowed respectfully.
“Come in,” Luther responded calmly.
Chadwick entered the room and, seeing the higher-ups of the Northern Army, asked directly, “Is that lord still in seclusion?” “There might be some complications,” Luther admitted, not hiding the truth. With the competition approaching and Braydon still absent, it was impossible to keep this under wraps.
Chadwick’s face grew serious.
“With his background, if something were to happen to him, it would be a major issue.
Only the Great Empress or the Heavenly Lord might be able to help us in such a situation.” Braydon’s background was formidable. If there were troubles on his cultivation path, it would be nearly impossible for outsiders to assist. He had forged a unique path that had never been seen before.
As the tension mounted outside, within the depths of the secret chamber in the small courtyard, a calm voice echoed, “The competition is about to begin.
Are you all prepared?” “Commander!” The Northern Army forces responded immediately.
All the commanders were present, and Luther let out a sigh of relief upon seeing his big brother.
“Brother, why do I feel like something’s not quite right with you?” The little fool’s eyes were full of suspicion as he circled Braydon, studying him closely. Harvey Lay and the others also felt that something was off. Braydon had changed significantly, otherwise, they wouldn’t have noticed.
Braydon smiled.
“I’ve been cultivating the Ten Thousand Dharma Idols.
My soul has been revitalized and turned into an eternal soul.
I’ve even glimpsed some special things.” “Is it the Myriad Reincarnation Imprint?” Chadwick asked cautiously, hesitating before speaking. His question caused Cole Colbie and the others to go pale. They knew from their past lives what the Myriad Reincarnation Imprint was—the greatest secret of their big brother. Even in their previous lives, they hadn’t fully understood it. Now, it seemed that the Myriad Reincarnation Imprint had resurfaced.
Braydon didn’t deny it.
“Get ready.
The competition is about to start.
It would be embarrassing if you were defeated by those kids!” The mood lightened instantly. Chadwick and the others saw that Braydon was reluctant to discuss the Myriad Reincarnation Imprint further, so they didn’t press the issue. The eight lineage chiefs took their leave, as they were outsiders in this matter.
Watching them leave, Braydon said, “Chiefs, I’m giving you a great opportunity in this life.
All the top experts of the human race will have a significant chance in the future.” Chadwick and Green Lotus exchanged surprised glances.
