“So this is the power of the Second Order level?”
In the forest, Lynch is sensing the changes brought by advancing to the Second Tier Mystic Technique.
At this moment, the entire forest had been completely paused. Coyotes leaping out of the bushes to hunt rabbits were suspended in mid-air, the wings of bees fluttering stiffly, and even the wind had stopped.
The whole world seemed frozen, and within this world, only Lynch could move.
Energy overflow.
This is a natural phenomenon that occurs when a wizard advances to the Second Tier. Due to the surge of energy during promotion, it breaks through the wizard’s own constraints and spreads outward, causing phenomena like the appearance of the heavens and earth.
This is why Lynch purposely left the Dark Forest, choosing a remote corner of the human world for his advancement.
The fact that the ruling elite of this land used fake Deep Meditation methods to deceive him shows how wary the wizard families here are of the upward advancement of muggle wizards. Who knows what trouble would arise if they found out he secretly cultivated and advanced to the Second Tier?
At this moment,
Looking at the forest, completely frozen by the energy overflow from his advancement, Lynch was somewhat amazed. The scale of this Time Suspension was something he couldn’t have achieved with his previous spiritual power.
He opened his system panel to check.
Spiritual Power 1038.
“Tsk tsk…”
Even though he had felt the immense increase in spiritual power at the moment of his advancement, seeing this number truly shocked Lynch—more than three or four times what it was before.
Lynch looked at the forest with a diameter of no less than a thousand meters before him, and his released Spiritual Field was enough to completely envelop it.
Under his Spiritual Field, every move in this forest—every insect, every leaf—was observed in detail. The ecology, mechanisms, and even the structure of things were crystal clear.
This level of spiritual power no longer remained superficial but could penetrate into the bodies of all things, to meticulously observe blood flow, organ function, elemental energy formation, and more within these living entities.
All that was observed would combine with Lynch’s own knowledge to form the ultimate—
Mystic Technique!
The increase in spiritual power enhanced his ability to perceive things, yet this wasn’t the greatest difference between a wizard and Mystic Technique. The most significant change brought by a wizard advancing to Mystic Technique was on the soul level…
“Hmm?”
Just then, Lynch sensed something.
He furrowed his brows and looked in one direction, where he could clearly sense several strands of spiritual power rapidly approaching.
“Tch, what a hassle!”
He had deliberately run to this godforsaken place to advance just to avoid being too conspicuous, but in the end, he still attracted other people’s attention. This energy surge from advancing to the Second Tier wasn’t supposed to be that noticeable, was it?
“This place is just too small!”
As his strength increased, Lynch increasingly felt that the narrowness of this Witch Domain in the land of Ancient Ruins was overestimated by being defined as a Three-Ring Wizarding Domain by the highest council of the Wizard World…
How would the many other Wizarding Domains of various sizes be elsewhere?
Never mind, I’ll deal with that later.
Shaking his head, Lynch pulled back his far-reaching thoughts, simply yet thoroughly gathered his Spiritual Field, then lifted his sleeve to release Parker from the Dragon Nest. After a stretch and transformation in the air, he mounted this dragon.
“Let’s go, Parker.”
Lynch patted Parker’s head, and with a flap of its wings, it carried him away.
Not long after Lynch left, several wizards arrived at the location, identified as wizards of the Shadow Tower by the insignias on their cloaks.
Although Lynch had left, the residual Spiritual Field continued to affect the area.
Especially on the soul level.
Upon arrival, the wizards immediately felt a unique pressure on the soul level, instantly recognizing its source:
“Second Tier Mystic Technique!”
“Someone advanced here, and it was a Second Tier Mystic Technique!”
The faces of several wizards changed drastically.
Currently, there are only 36 Second Tier Mystic Techniques in the entire Ancient Ruins, and these 36 are the supreme masters of billions of creatures in this Three-Ring Wizarding Domain; any Second Tier advancement here is no small matter.
“Quick, report to the Tower!”
Immediately, the wizards headed back to the Tower.
Soon afterward, several more wizards arrived from another direction, bearing the Starshine Castle badge.
Similarly,
these wizards changed their expressions as they perceived the anomaly on-site, promptly recording the incident to report to the Wizard Organization.
Following that were the Dawn Wizard Academy, and even the Black Tower, among others.
One by one, wizard organizations sensing the unusual energy fluctuations or having caught the news sent people to investigate the forest, and soon, a message began circulating secretly among the high echelons of this land, causing countless shocks.
Because,
someone had advanced to the Second Tier!
At the simultaneous timeframe of the family meeting convened by Avery, a meeting was also being held at the Shadow Tower, the organization’s highest council meeting, the Judge Meeting.
At the top floor of the Shadow Tower, in the Round Table Wisdom Hall.
In front of the oval long table, the seven Judges presiding over the Shadow Tower gathered for a summit meeting.
The Berserker sneered, “Oh ho, Calvin, you’re here too, aren’t you supposed to have a family council meeting today?”
The Green Wizard took a puff of his smoking pipe, calmly saying, “That’s just a trivial matter; someone advanced to the Second Tier, and I certainly must have a look.”
Codinos glanced around, smirking, “The last time we had such a full meeting here was when giving that young apprentice a feather. We gathered everybody for an apprentice last time, and now it’s for someone advancing to the Second Tier.”
Frost Speaker Sirena said coldly, “Just get to the point, don’t waste time!”
“Ha, ha.”
Codinos gave two dry laughs and quieted down.
At this moment, Erodion entered the venue. After a brief greeting, he began, “The reason for suddenly gathering everyone here I believe is already clear to you all.”
Pausing, he asked, “I want to know, who’s the one advancing to the Second Tier?”
He glanced at the Judges present.
These are the true control figures of the top wizard families in the land of Ancient Ruins, intertwined with various wizard families here. Theoretically, they should know which family’s wizard advanced to the Second Tier.
Yet, at this moment, they all stared at each other, speechless.
Erodion frowned, “Not someone from here?”
Saros ventured, “It might be an external wizard lodging here who happened to advance?”
If it’s not from a wizard family, this would be the only explanation.
Codinos grumbled, “Who are they? So impolite! To advance here as an outsider without even notifying us?”
Reo frowned, “I haven’t heard of any wizard close to the Second Tier active here recently… Although the Truth Church people were said to have visited before, he was already Second Tier, so the one advancing now can’t be him…”
Everyone shared their thoughts, full of puzzlement.
Wizard Calvin took a drag from his smoking pipe, also puzzled, “I wonder, is this Second Tier advancement truly an external wizard? Choosing such a remote place suggests they’re quite familiar with here.”
Erodion raised an eyebrow, “Are you saying the one advancing might be a native wizard?”
“Impossible?”
“If it were, how would that person not announce it immediately?”
Currently, nearly a hundred wizards are striving for the Second Tier; any advancement among them would mean a world of change for their status and family standing.
The benefits of this should logically mean immediate worldwide announcement, not deliberate concealment.
Calvin waved his hand, “Don’t ask me, I’m just speculating.”
Erodion seemed to be lost in thought.
When Lynch returned to the main house, Avery had been waiting there for a long time, rushing to him the moment he entered.
“Where have you been?”
“Never mind that now; listen, I’ve got it!”
She joyfully announced the good news to Lynch.
