The sun went down, and it became fully dark. Seeing the powerful monsters coming out, I slowed our speed.

The day had gone uneventful. We didn't come across any Grimms. We came across a few monsters but were able to hide.

"How far is the destination?" I asked.

I didn't ask that question to her throughout the day, but now I needed to know to plan. We could rest for a few hours if it is a day or two away.

If we could reach it sooner, then we will continue going.

"If we kept moving at the speed we are. We will reach there by dawn," she replied.

"We will keep going then," I said. To that, she nodded.

An hour passed, and then another. I followed her directions.

I want to reach the destination as soon as possible. I have already made the preparations and am very excited about it, but she isn't.

It's clear by expressions.

If I didn't want to go there desperately, I would have suggested we shouldn't.

If it is very well hidden. There is no way for Grimm to find it. Then, the best option would be to leave it be, but I am greedy. So, I am not going to do that.

Another hour and a half passed when I sensed a Grimm finally.

"I had sensed Grimm; stay here; I will deal with it," I said, hiding her in the cloud with a cocoon of stealth before flying toward the Grimms.

It's a Snakeman, and it is powerful, but not powerful enough to sense me when I reached mile rage of it.

It sensed me when I reached around half a mile away from it.

Immediately, I activated my full power and moved toward the Grimm. The smile that was appearing in its place froze mid-way, and fear appeared in its eyes.

It opened its mouth to speak as I appeared in front of me, but stopped seeing me attacking.

Fear deepened and turned to horror, but the Grimms reacted fast despite that. The defensive methods began to appear on its body, while the Snakeman sometimes moved its sword toward me to defend against my attack.

A moment later, my sword was in my chest while it tried to struggle.

"If you had been slightly stronger, you might have lasted for a few seconds," I said to it, pulling it into my core before walking away slowly toward Kanxin.

I have attracted the eyes of a few monsters. They are not powerful, but some could hold me for a few minutes. That is enough for some big bad to arrive.

Monsters screamed in frustration while I appeared beside Kanxin.

"I am glad I have come to this realm with you. It wouldn't have been easy with Governor," she said. I chose not to reply.

There is a competition between Carter and Kanxin. Though comprehending the law and recent level-up, he had left her far behind, but it could change.

Kanxin is more talented and a lot younger. If she comprehends the law, she will be back in a competition.

Since I arrived in the Taurus, I made sure not to step into their politics. Such things are ugly, and I want no part of it.

A few minutes passed, and the monsters calmed down. We resumed our journey soon after.

The strengthening energy and growth energy are coming out of the tree, but it won't affect the stealth with the speed at which I am moving.

Time passed, and I felt a little hungry. I didn't eat anything since morning. It's not new; I had been eating only once in a while now, but that didn't stop the hunger.

I love to eat as much as I love to cook, and many times, I wished my power hadn't been revealed.

I would still be in Tor. Doing what I want without any fear. I pushed those thoughts as they came into my head. Wishing for things that couldn't happen is a waste of time.

"Do you have any forbidden power crystals? I had asked Governor, but he had used all," she asked.

I wanted to curse Carter. He is one of the people who had the most forbidden power crystals. I, for a second, do not believe, he used it all.

A person like him wouldn't.

If I were to guess, I would say he hadn't used much of it. Because he is very close to the Silver Prime; that is where those would be most useful.

"I have a few crystals left; I will give it to you later," I replied to her, and could see gratefulness and relief flashing in her eyes.

I am not giving it to her with the goodness of my heart. I am giving her for my own research. I want to see how forbidden power reacts with the body.

It will be able to gather a lot of data from her. Seeing, I had already deep-scanned her.

I now know more about her than herself.

Hours passed, and we moved closer and closer to our destination. Now, it is only around two hours to dawn.

"We are only an hour away from our destination," she informed as she looked around.

I didn't say anything, but a small smile appeared on my face. An hour later, I will be in the presence of that magnificent formation.

I was so excited that I wanted to speed toward it, but I controlled myself.

I have come so far with enough patience and calm. I don't want to make any mistake by acting on my excitement. So, I didn't change my speed and moved at the same speed I had throughout the night.
