Stop Hypnotizing Me, Antagonist Princess!

Ch-550: 129 Love, The Most Illogical Thing in the World_2
"Well," Davis thought, "My Niera is a tough nut to crack. She has the princess mindset and only wishes the best for her Lucian, so Saffira has already failed in the talent and looks department."
"..." Saffira looked as though she was going to cry.
"I’m comparing you to a celestial beauty which Niera would want for her son. Don’t be bothered." Davis added before continuing, "The best way to convince Niera would be- begging."
"What?" Lucian became dumbfounded.
"Yes," Davis nodded, "Lucian, your mother truly loves you. If you beg and remain strong, she will eventually give in, like I said before. It is difficult to convince her when she has immense dreams for you. She’s not the type to be moved by gifts or other things but sees the character and places importance on relationships. I think Saffira will pass on that regard, but how will Niera believe her? This is the difficult part. The only way I know is for her to pass my little sister’s formation, which determines the truth of a person."
"Aunt Clara’s formation!" Lucian clenched his fists.
He had heard about this formation before, knowing that it would see through all falsehoods of a person who entered it, so if his mother were to see Saffira entering and passing it, she should become more receptive to her, and all he needed to do after that was beg.
"Hmm." Davis nodded, "When Niera returns, Saffira, you should prove how much you love Lucian by entering that formation."
Davis knew Saffira was a good and innocent girl. But he couldn’t be vouching for them when this was their relationship, and they needed to prove themselves. Besides, even if Saffira’s love for Lucian was all true, it didn’t mean that she could be faithful.
Niera would see that point the most, and he believed Clara’s formation made from the essence of the Transcendent Truth Eyes could determine the truth of that matter.
Saffira was clueless, but she was determined, "I’ll follow your words, Palace Master. I’m willing to face anything if it means I could be with Young Master Lucian."
"Good." Davis nodded, "However, if I see even the slightest wavering over something during this time period, then I’ll split you two apart myself."
"...!" Lucian and Saffira’s heart shook.
Their hands unknowingly reached out to each other for help, their fingers touching before they joined hands.
"We- we’ll prove to you that we can rely on each other as husband and wife!"
"Young Master Lucian’s happiness is my happiness!"
The two of them echoed, trying to look as harmonious as possible.
Davis suppressed a smile before he waved his hand.
"Leave, don’t meet like this again. Maintain a proper relationship that is similar to one before marriage. If anyone catches wind of this matter and dares to bully you, like your fellow maids, then immediately inform Head Maid Esvele. Do you two understand?"
"Yes!~"
Lucian and Saffira responded with excitement before they left, their hands still together.
Davis looked at their backs, wishing the best for his son.
Abruptly, his eyes went wide as he saw a red thread of fate form between them when he instinctively used his karmic eyes.
’This is... most people don’t have a red thread of fate, and Divergents are even more unlikely to have... Lucian didn’t have it before, but now...’
Davis was shocked. He didn’t expect this to happen. Could it be that his support and Lucian’s insistence forcefully formed one?
In that case, he pretty much thought it was a done deal but still didn’t get ahead of himself. He sent a soul transmission to his son.
"Don’t you dare sleep with her. Your primal yang essence will kill her if you haven’t prepared her."
"...!"
Lucian turned to look and thanked secretly with an embarrassed nod. He was also aware that his primal yang essence was too hot and would probably need a lot of ice-attributed treasures to overcome that, but even before that, Saffira needed to match his cultivation base or at least become an Immortal King so that she wouldn’t get burnt.
They left, and Davis stayed for some time, thinking about a lot of things in this silent atmosphere before Esvele reappeared before him.
"Master, they’re still together. Does this mean...?"
"Hmm." Davis nodded and turned to look at Esvele.
He explained his decision and told her to continue monitoring them, even protect Saffira if need be.
"Understood." Esvele nodded.
She turned around to leave.
"Wait."
Davis suddenly said, causing her to come to a stop.
"I haven’t seen you smile in a long time. Are you fine? Is there anything bothering you?"
"I am fine." Esvele turned to look at him, her lips curling into a lovely smile behind her semi-transparent veil, "Thanks for worrying about me, Master."
"Alright." Davis nodded, "You can go."
Esvele nodded and took off.
’Just my imagination, huh...’ Davis nodded.
Esvele’s emotions were stable overall. She had a cold expression that gave him an uncanny feeling like she was a ghost working here, but that didn’t seem to be the case when he finally used his Heart Intent on her after all the inhibitions he had.
Davis also finally left.
The next day, Evelynn returned after successfully sealing the Hell Poison Gem’s forged treasure along with the others. He didn’t hide Azariel’s matter from her.
"Ridiculous. How dare she reject my son?"
Evelynn flared as she stood up while sitting, her expression scary, "I need to go see who she is for myself."
"Wait, wait, wait."
Davis appeared beside her and held her shoulders, "They are just youngsters determining what they want in their naive years. You can’t be too harsh on them."
"No, the nerve of her to throw our son away for some trash-!" Evelynn lost her cool.
"Aiya, you also didn’t want me back them for a period of time because you feared I could be a silk pants crown prince who would abandon you. Everyone will have their own tastes. You can’t kill someone just because they rejected your son."
"Kill? Dying is too merciful for them."
Evelynn cackled uncharacteristically, her purple eyes shining crazy.
Davis was alarmed, wondering what she was going to do.
In the end, it took some time to comfort this son-doting mother, and he did that by bringing her to bed and telling her how he longed for her. Schleya also came by to partake in the intimacy but she left soon as she had to leave. Sometime later, Natalya also joined, and he was filled with immense pleasure and satisfaction as both of them also longed for him deeply.
They spent many days rolling on the bed.
Time passed after that wonderful session.
They entered the Seventh Year of the Covenant.
