Chapter 6324: Eighth Zhao
But Chu Feng and the others weren’t discovered, thanks to the intervention of Little Fishy’s Heavenly God level parents and grandfather. To be doubly safe, Little Fishy’s parents activated their bloodline and raised their cultivation from rank one to rank three Heavenly God level.
It would be tough for normal people to notice them.
“Why are m-m-masks not working? Do we have to r-r-reveal our true identities in this place?” Wang Qiang’s treasure mask turned transparent the moment he placed it on his face.
“It’s fine. There shouldn’t be a problem as long as we don’t split up,” Chu Feng said.
“That’s t-t-true. We have three H-H-Heavenly Gods protecting us,” Wang Qiang pointed out gleefully.
But Chu Feng’s true ace was the Divine Deer, who had regained her energy. To be safe, he asked, “Elder Divine Deer, will you be able to take us out of here if something happens?”
“Yes, I can do it. There’s a way if you don’t want to reveal yourself—try using the warship,” the Divine Deer replied.
“All right.”
Chu Feng took out a warship with a wave of his hand. Much to his delight, the warship didn’t turn transparent even as he and the others entered it.
“Great! We don’t have to worry about revealing ourselves anymore,” Little Fishy exclaimed.
While having three Heavenly Gods on their side was reassuring, they could never be too prepared when dealing with the enigmatic Ancient Era’s races. It was better to err on the side of caution.
But the Divine Deer told Chu Feng, “You can only channel the warship to move around. You mustn’t use martial power or spirit power on the warship, or the warship will turn transparent.”
Chu Feng relayed those words to Little Fishy and the others.
Wang Qiang tried exerting his martial power, and the warship immediately turned transparent.
“What t-t-the?” Wang Qiang exclaimed.
“If a battle breaks out, it wouldn’t matter whether we reveal ourselves or not. It’s all good if we can remain in the warship while searching for a peak,” Xianhai Shaoyu said.
“T-t-that’s true.” Wang Qiang nodded.
So, Chu Feng and the others channeled the warship to venture deeper into the Fortuitous Bloodline Mountain.
“Elder, you seem to know much about the Fortuitous Bloodline Mountain. What else do you know about this place? Share it with me,” Chu Feng asked the Divine Deer.
The Divine Deer had become more amicable since he acquired what the other party needed at the peak of the Huangfu Heavenly Clan’s Immemorial Bloodline Tower. She was more willing to answer his questions now and would even take the initiative to chat with him at times.
In fact, she was the one who told him about Long Zhuoyan’s identity.
“Zhao Tingxue’s information is on point except for the hardest two peaks. You can grasp something from the hardest two peaks, just that few people can pull it off. You can give it a try. The Fortuitous Bloodline Mountain doesn’t have much energy left anyway. You should aim for the best since you’re here; I doubt that the other peaks will be of much use to you anyway,” the Divine Deer said.
“All right,” Chu Feng replied. He turned to Wang Qiang, Xianhai Shaoyu, and Little Fishy, and asked, “Have you decided on which peak to challenge?”
“Brother, d-d-do we have enough resources to activate the hardest peak?” Wang Qiang asked.
“We do,” Chu Feng replied.
“I’ll challenge the h-h-hardest one!” Wang Qiang said.
“Big brother, what are your thoughts?” Little Fishy asked.
“I’m also thinking of challenging the hardest peak,” Chu Feng replied.
“Let’s go with that,” Little Fishy replied.
“Hold on! Aren’t you forgetting me? I haven’t decided yet!” Xianhai Shaoyu exclaimed.
“Which one do you want?” Little Fishy asked.
“The hardest one,” Xianhai Shaoyu replied.
“You need help.” Little Fishy rolled her eyes.
So, Chu Feng and the others began looking for four hardest peaks situated near one another. There were plenty of hardest peaks around, but it was hard to find four in the same area.
They were so invested in their search that they didn’t notice a huge army comprising over a thousand warships entering the Fortuitous Bloodline Mountain. Even the smallest warship could house a million people, and all bore the Zhao Immortal Clan’s flags.
At the front of the formation was an imposing warship. Despite its majestic scale, it was only carrying several people in its massive palace.
In the heart of the warship, there was a round table and several wooden stools. A couple of people sat around casually as they ate together. Surprisingly, they were all faces that Chu Feng would have recognized.
Not only were Zhao Tingxue and Zhao Cangjing there, but there were also Zhao Cangjing’s grandfather, Zhao Daobin, and the father-daughter duo Chu Feng had met in God’s Era, Eighth Zhao and Zhao Zhuyin.
“Tingxue, is there no news about Chu Feng?” Eighth Zhao ate a slice of meat as he asked.
“Lord Father, we haven’t found Chu Feng yet, but our people are searching for him. Since disguise means don’t work in the Fortuitous Bloodline Mountain, we’ll surely find him if he’s here,” Zhao Tingxue said.
“It’ll be a huge pity if Chu Feng isn’t here.” Eighth Zhao felt so regretful about this that even the meat in his mouth didn’t seem as fragrant anymore.
“You have a high opinion of Chu Feng, father.” Zhao Zhuyin smiled.
“What do you mean I have a high opinion of him? Who’s the one who keeps singing praises of him to me? Those who don’t know better might think that you’re interested in him,” Eighth Zhao said heartily.
“What nonsense are you spouting!” Zhao Zhuyin rolled her eyes.
Laughter broke out in the palace.
The man whom Chu Feng recognized as Eighth Zhao was none other than the Zhao Immortal Clan’s Clan Chief. Despite his hearty personality, no one other than Zhao Zhuyin dared to speak to him casually in view of his high position.
Not even Zhao Tingxue, who was his daughter too, dared to do so.
“Lord Father, it should be fine even if Chu Feng doesn’t come. I discovered a formidable junior,” Zhao Tingxue said.
“A formidable junior? How formidable is he?” Eighth Zhao asked.
“A rank three True Dragon World Spiritist,” Zhao Tingxue replied.
“Rank three True Dragon World Spiritist?! Are you sure he’s a junior?” Eighth Zhao’s eyes widened in shock. Even his chopsticks came to a halt.
Zhao Daobin and Zhao Zhuyin were astounded too.
“He had incredible fighting prowess too. He easily defeated Zhao Cangjing even after the latter raised his cultivation to rank seven True God level,” Zhao Tingxue added.
“What?! A world spiritist with a heaven-defying battle power of four cultivation ranks?” Eighth Zhao was stunned.
Zhao Tingxue and Zhao Daobin were shocked.
“Big sister, are you sure he’s a junior?” Zhao Zhuyin asked.
“There’s no doubt about it. Zhao Cangjing can confirm that,” Zhao Tingxue replied.
“Yeah, I had my doubts, so I used my means to verify it. He is indeed a junior,” Zhao Cangjing replied awkwardly.
“Doesn’t that make him more formidable than Chu Feng? Is he a present-era junior or an Ancient Era junior? What’s his name?” Eighth Zhao asked.
